It's AGM Time! Come along and shape your dance community! Our AGM will be held in Stuart Hall, Knox Church. There will be no class that week. But there will be food and dancing!

Annual General Meeting 2024
Tuesday 18th March, 6:30pm.
It's that time of year again. Our AGM is here. This is our annual opportunity to reflect on our successes and challenges over the past year, to elect our committee for the coming year, and generally to celebrate being a community together. This will be held at Stuart Hall (Knox Church - where you have classes) followed by social dance till 9pm. No entry charge for AGM or social.

Membership
Importantly, if you want to take active part in the AGM (such as voting, nominating or standing) then you need to be a member of Swing Riot.
It could not be simpler. All you need to do is agree to our code of conduct, tick a box saying you want to be a member and click submit. And you need to do it by midnight on Tuesday 11th March.
Nominations
All positions on our executive committee are up for election at the AGM. Nominations are open from NOW until 11:59pm on Monday 17th March.
Nominating someone couldn't be simpler. Just email dunedin.swing@gmail.com and say who you'd like to nominate, and what role you're nominating them for. Importantly, please cc the nominee into the email so we can quickly confirm that they'd like to take up the nomination!
